Crew & Social
Build your accountability circle and quest together.
What Is a Crew?
Your crew is your accountability circle — a group of people who support each other's goals. Invite friends, family, or teammates to join your crew and take on quests together.
Inviting Crew Members
To invite someone to your crew:
- ●Go to Crew menu and tap the plus icon on the bottom-right.
- ●Enter their email address(es) and send the invitation.
- ●If they're already on Oktant, they'll get an in-app and email notification.
- ●If they're new, they'll receive an email with a sign-up link that auto-connects them to your crew.
Managing Your Crew
From the Crew menu or via Profile notifications:
- ●Accept or decline incoming crew invitations.
- ●Remove members you no longer want in your crew.
- ●Block members to prevent future invitations — they won't know they've been blocked.
Crew Quest: Support Mode
Your crew member can view your quest progress for accountability — they're your personal cheerleader.
- ●Your supporter sees your rites, pulses, and progress in real time.
- ●The supporter can add encouraging notes alongside your pulse notes — notes are shared between you in real time.
- ●The supporter does not log pulses or earn RP — this is your quest, they're just keeping you honest.
Crew Quest: Mirror Mode
In Mirror mode, everyone gets their own independent copy of the quest. You all work on the same goal in parallel — perfect for group challenges.
- ●Each member has their own version with independent rites and progress.
- ●Each member logs their own pulses and earns their own RP.
- ●Members can customise their rites after joining (edit names, targets, frequencies, etc.).
- ●Complete, pause, or abandon your version without affecting others.
- ●View how other members are progressing via the quest details.
- ●If the creator leaves, ownership transfers to the next member.
Crew Quest: Raid Mode
In Raid mode, your crew works together on a single shared quest. Everyone pulses the same rites and earns RP — a true team effort.
- ●Everyone shares the same quest and rites.
- ●All members log pulses and earn full RP.
- ●Each person's pulses are shown with their avatar on the dashboard.
- ●The quest creator controls the quest lifecycle (pause, complete, abandon).
- ●Members can withdraw if they no longer want to participate.
Crew Quest: Guide Mode
A crew member acts as your mentor (guide), reviewing and confirming your progress. You do the work; they provide accountability and feedback.
- ●You create the quest and invite a crew member as your guide.
- ●Your guide reviews your progress and provides feedback.
- ●The guide can add notes alongside your pulse notes for encouragement.
- ●Two review scopes: Completion Only (guide reviews final submission) or Pulses & Completion (guide also reviews daily pulses).
- ●You can change the review scope after quest creation.
- ●When you complete, the guide either honours your quest or revisits it with feedback.
Crew Notifications
The bell icon on your Profile shows crew activity. You'll be notified when members accept or decline invitations, complete, pause, abandon, or resume quests, and when members withdraw or are removed. Guide mode adds notifications for honoured/revisited quests and daily pulse reviews. Completed quests display in past tense so you can tell active from finished at a glance. Tap a notification to jump to the relevant quest.
