Pulses & Your Dashboard
Log your daily progress and track habits at a glance.
What Is a Pulse?
A Pulse is your daily check-in on a rite. When you complete a rite for the day, you log a pulse. This is how Oktant tracks your consistency and calculates your Resonance Points. Pulses only show based on the scheduled frequency you define between the start and end dates of the quest.
Logging Pulses
From your dashboard, tap a rite to log your pulse:
- ●Checkbox rites: Tap the checkbox to toggle done/not done.
- ●Numeric rites: Tap to open a number input, enter your value (e.g., "3.5km").
- ●Timer rites: Tap to open a time input, enter the duration (e.g., "1h 30m").
You can log pulses for past dates by selecting a different day on the date picker. Future dates are visible but disabled.
Your Dashboard
The Dashboard is your daily command center. It shows all the rites that are due today, grouped by quest.
- ●Resonance Radar — the chart at the top shows your life balance across all 8 slices.
- ●Date Picker — scroll horizontally to view different days.
- ●Filters — switch between Today, Week, Month, or Season views.
- ●Search — filter rites by name, quest name, or life slice.
- ●Pulse count — see how many rites you've completed vs total due today.
RP Display Options
Control how Resonance Points are shown on your dashboard from Settings:
- ●Full — shows total RP badge plus per-slice breakdown tags.
- ●Total — shows only the total RP badge (default).
- ●Off — hides all RP tags for a cleaner view.
Completed Rites
When you complete a rite, it gets a strikethrough and the RP tags turn green, showing the points you've earned. Paused or abandoned rites only appear on days where you had already logged a pulse.
